Local Tanning Salon Distinguished As One Of The Nation's Top Facilities

PHOENIX, Ariz.-LOOKING FIT® Magazine, a national trade publication supporting the indoor tanning industry, recently named Mega Tan, Hickory, NC as one of the Top 250 salons in the nation.

Since 2000, LOOKING FIT's editors have worked diligently to identify the Top 250 indoor tanning salons in the industry. Published in the Feb. 15, 2008 issue of LOOKING FIT, this award identifies Mega Tan as one of the most innovative, dynamic and fastest­growing indoor tanning salons in North America.

The success of the salons that were chosen can be attributed to a number of factors including their professionalism, commitment to education and superior customer service. Year after year, the indoor tanning industry grows in direct proportion to consumer confidence gained through knowledgeable tanning salon owners and operators who have the welfare of their customers in mind.

Mega Tan Voted One of the Nations Top 250 Tanning Salon's by LOOKING FIT Magazine

Mega Tan is one of seven tanning salons in North Carolina chosen as a     Top 250 Tanning Salon.

LOOKING FIT Magazine first took lists provided by manufacturers and distributors from whom they thought as some of the best tanning salons in the country. Then the staff of LOOKING FIT added names of tanning salons they found on their annual LOOKING FIT Tanning Tours. These were combined with thousands of surveys taken through in-magazine and online surveys sent in by salon owners and managers.

In addition, they made hundreds of phone interviews to validate information for an accurate Top 250 listing.

LOOKING FIT  paid critical attention to salons who made advancements of the image and professionalism of indoor tanning by professional training, certification, and community charities.

We would like to thank the people at LOOKING FIT for considering Mega Tan one of the Top 250 tanning salons in the country and especially thank our clients and friends in the Hickory area for making Mega Tan one of the Top 250 salons.
